I am an undergraduate student reading Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I have a number of years of teaching experience and am known to be fluent and patient in my teaching. I taught my first official student E-Math for his O-Levels and he improved by 4 grades from an F9 to a C5. In fact, he had a very weak foundation in maths and was scoring consistently below 20% for every test. I had half the year to strengthen his foundation and prepare him for his O-Levels, and his effort and improvements paid off to score a C5. He was very happy because he had the opportunity to enter a polytechnic course. I also taught E-Maths to my second student for her O-Levels. She was in the Normal Academic stream, and opted for O-Level E-Maths to help her with her chances to enter the poly foundation programme. She had a weak foundation in maths, but with her consistent effort she improved by 4 grades from a D7 to a B3 for her O-Levels in 6 months. She was very happy because she made the cut to enter the poly-foundation programme. I also had two years teaching O-Level Chemistry (Pure & Combined) at a tuition centre. I also taught diploma level courses to a junior who had difficulties understanding the concepts taught in poly. He managed to score A for the modules I helped him with, which includes subjects such as heat and mass transfer and reaction engineering. Lastly, I had years of experience teaching my friends and peers with subjects that I can help with, usually in the maths and sciences domain.

I am Zibo, a tutor who specialises in secondary A Math, E math, Physics and Chemistry. Currently, I’m teaching 3 secondary and 3 primary students. As a teacher, I strongly believe in building foundation and strong mastery of the subject. Therefore, I will ensure my student have great knowledge and understanding of the topic before we dive into practice. My teaching style varies with students, I like to give them a little test to gauge their level first then proceed with personalized teaching methods to suit their needs. My greatest accomplishment in helping a student is someone who is slow and a lilttle autistic and naughty, but I was very patient and his parent appointed only me to teach him for his student years. Another was a mischevious NT student whom likes to fall asleep in lessons but eventually grew to love maths and scored a B from his usual F grade.
