I am currently an Undergraduate at NTU studying Psychology and i have over 3 years of teaching experience and specialise mainly in Mathematics and Science from primary to secondary school. I have taught 10 over students over the last 3 years with all achieving distinctions in mathematics and Science or having significant improvement in their grades (e.g. F9 to B3). As a tutor, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. I have worked with students ranging from primary school to secondary school, and have seen significant improvement in their grades and understanding of various subjects. I am confident in my ability to tailor my teaching methods to the unique learning styles of each individual student. Additionally, as a Psychology undergraduate at NTU, I have developed a deep understanding of child development and the learning process. This allows me to communicate effectively with my students and provide them with the support they need to succeed. I also do have experience working with students with slow-learning abilities and ADHD. I am patient and capable of communicating and teaching young children. Teaching approach: First assess the student’s strengths and weaknesses. Review student’s past exam papers and find out which topics they are weak in. Focus on weaker topics and build a foundation. For student’s stronger topics, repetition is key. I am a committed tutor and look forward to helping your child improve their grades. I place emphasis on learning the fundamentals and enjoying the subject. My goal is always to make lessons enjoyable for my students so that they can develop a positive behaviour towards learning. This includes visualisation techniques and games. I provide concise notes for all my students and drill them with exam papers. I also use assessment books for practice during classes and as homework (Parents will be required to reimburse if needed).

Former preschool English teacher with 4 years of experience at a prestigious preschool (Etonhouse). Besides my full time job as a preschool educator, i have privately tutored children with special needs too. I engage interesting methods such as using characters of their interest or storytelling to teach, learning should be fun! As for my private tutoring, it was for special needs children whom has failed English. Managed to push them up to a pass.

I am currently giving private tuition to students in A and E math! In junior college, i tutored students in H2 Economics and H2 Biology. Student's grade improved from S to B. I explained complex and difficult concepts in a simple manner which the students can understand. Furthermore i give personal advice and tips for students to take note of in exams. In secondary school, i tutored students in Additional Math and E Math, with improvements in grades from B4 to A2. Mostly,i helped them breakdown difficult math problems and teach them how to recognise certain questions types and the methods/concepts to use.
