I also don’t believe in quantity, but quality. I have prior experience volunteering with primary school children tutoring at Yong En Care Centre, for Mathematics. I am currently in Year 4 of medical school, and am able to work part time. I scored A1 for GCE O Level English, Literature, Additional Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics, and the triple sciences. For GCE A level, I scored A for General Paper, H2 Chemistry, H2 Biology and H2 Economics. Currently, I am looking to tutor only the English language subject. After reviewing the student’s current academic standing, I will tailor my approach to build upon their existing linguistic skills through focus on their foundation and areas for improvement. I believe that the English language subject is skill-based, and honing in on exam techniques will be one of my top priorities.

My lesson plans and teaching style have also been largely informed by scientifically proven methods—from my background in psychology—to help facilitate optimal learning for my students.
