I have been giving tuition since 2012 (started as a part-time tutor) and have experience tutoring Primary school Math, Secondary school A and E Math, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science (Chemistry and Physics). I have also been involved in the publishing of local Secondary Mathematics Textbooks. For 2023, the subjects that I taught are Secondary pure physics, sec 1 exp e-math, sec 3 na e-math. For physics, i have 4 students, 3 taking O lvl and 1 from IP (dunman high school). On average the students, have improved 2 grades: the max from D7 to A2. The min being B4 to B4. Their grades are all As and Bs.

I am a 21 year old tutor, having graduated from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, awaiting matriculation into NUS in 2024. I am experienced tutor with 3 years of private tutoring, with students ranging from primary level to junior college students. I am specialised in teaching SL Chinese, SL Economics, SL Math and HL Chemistry at IB level. I have tutored a total of 8 students in this academic year, bringing about sustained improvements in their academic grades. Most notably, one HL Chemistry student has achieved a grade 7 in his recent mid year examinations. One of my greatest tutoring achievement thus far would be witnessing my student jump from a C6 grade, to an A2 grade within the span of half a year, thereby promoting to the Express stream. My teaching style revolves heavily around firstly ensuring that the student is able to fully understand the concepts, before moving on to tackling the answering techniques. I am also very patient, and will always try my best to make the lesson as engaging yet productive at the same time. With over 15 students taught over the last 2 years, I am an experienced tutor who has an excellent track record, and am willing to not only help every student reach his or her full potential, but to also gain a better appreciation for the subject.

I have had 1 year experience of tutoring a secondary 4 student English and her grades had improved from a B4 to an A2 under my guidance. I have been a consistent scoring student throughout my primary and even secondary school life, consistently producing distinctions in English and Chinese and even attaining a best in subject award in secondary 3 for my English language. I have faced my fair share of academic failures personally and am more than willing to help support students that require more patience and support to excel. I believe in helping students identify and work specifically on their weaknesses when approaching language rather than doing full practices over and over again and running through entire textbooks.

I have been teaching consistently since 2020, and have taught English classes on my own at Fairfield Methodist School (Sec) and at The Learning Lab. I have also taken on private students for English and General Paper, who have seen improvements in their grades and their confidence in the subject under my tutelage. I have experience teaching students with ADHD, and believe in catering my teaching methods to each child's strengths and weaknesses. I believe in strengthening foundational English skills when teaching younger students from Upper Primary to Secondary 4. Given my inclination towards essay writing, I also specialise in teaching essay writing techniques to upper secondary and JC students. Currently I am teaching a pr 3 Nan Chiau boy and a sec2 Victoria boy their higher Chinese My own son is diagnosed with asperger's syndrome at Sec two.With the help of parents and tuitors,his scored 523 and enter Hwa Chong institution and now is finishing his masters in Data analytic. That is my close contact with autism spectrum
