I have experienced teaching kindergarten and lower primary students mainly in Malay Language. I'm a current SPED Teacher who focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have done speech and drama for 12 years and I enjoy interacting with people and transmitting my ideas to others confidently. I have built a reputation for myself at being good with math that my classmates come to me when they need help with math problems. Through experience, I have developed my own methodology, I always start with understanding their grasp with the fundamental knowledge first then I teach them the different types of questions that can be tested using that fundamental problem. They tend to have issues with the other variations of questions. I could therefore kill multiple birds with 1 stone. Then I would give them homework for them to practice. I would test them under timed conditions occasionally because studies have shown active-recall is crucial to get the knowledge to be part of their long term memory. They will also be able to slowly cope with the stress of exams gradually because mental fortitude is pivotal to scoring well. I am also very familiar with the exam questions as I have done many myself and I am also keenly aware of students' common mistakes. My goal for my students is a high A1, I will do everything I can to get them there. For math, I will definitely give homework as I believe in practicing and active-recalling of question types. My secondary school was Anglican High School, where I took triple science. I have always had a passion for Math, especially Amath. I have gotten consistent high marks for my A-math and E-math for all of my secondary school exams. I did my O-Levels in 2019 and I have gotten a L1R5 of 8 raw with A1 for both A and E maths. I got into Raffles Junior College, I have consistently been the 3rd highest scorer in Math in my class and scored high marks for all of my internal exams. I got A for H2 Math. I was accepted into NUS Data Science and Economics course.
