Patient yet firm are my main key to journey together with them, from liking the subject to achieve their ultimate goal. I am passionate in teaching and committed to journey with the child till PSLE. My teaching method is interactive where students will have a chance to explain the steps to solve problems. This will help them to process their thoughts through guided discussions. Feedback on progress and areas of improvement can be given on regular basis to students and parents. So far, my track record is a 20% improvement within 1 term.

I have been teaching H2 Bio since 2019 for both online and f2f, on average have 2-3 students per year. Past students from VJC, EJC, YIJC, RJC, CJC, current students in DHS, CJC, also private candidates. Most students are borderline pass/ failing when they start with me, and all my ex students have achieved A for A level bio. I focus on Math/Science. Current Students: P3 next year Math and Science (Maris)- started p1, no exam to date. P5 next year science (Geylang Methodist)- Foreign student, P4 started with ~20%, finals ~55% P5 next year science (River Valley)- started mid p3, started with borderline pass, scoring about ~80% now.

My teaching background begins with my own time in the 12th grade of the IBDP, I had the privilege of assisting 11th graders from the same program. These initial face-to-face tutoring sessions after school hours allowed me to develop a strong foundation in teaching. As I progressed, I transitioned to online teaching, where I concentrated on supporting 12th graders after I graduated from IBDP. I've had the privilege of offering personalized, one-on-one guidance to students in both Economics (higher level) and Business Management (higher level). I have also taken group sessions for mathematics (AI SL) in IBDP to teach students weeks before their assessment. I am wishing to extend my teaching capabilities to a broader range of students now that I am adequately skilled.

Currently I am tutoring 2 tutees. Coaching a Sec 4 Express Girl POA and a Nursery Girl English. I believe each student is different , some will study better picturing and some just by reading the text. As a tutor, my goal is to help the student to score well especially when it comes to national examinations. I would always encouraged my student to contact me as and when they face difficulty during their revision or studying time. I wont restrict them to contact me only during our tuition timing because this will cause them feel more insecure especially I dont want them to feel like "they have a tutor to guide them only during the agreed day and time" apart from that they are on their own.

I have 2 years of teaching experience, I’ve mainly taught in International schools where I conducted Fun Science Lessons. I have also taught at an enrichment centre before, I did creative writing with a Primary 6 and Primay 4 Student. The primary 6 students’ grades were 60-65 range, it went up to 83 after 3 months of me guiding the student for creative writing and building their vocabulary! I taught them right-brain training to bring out their fullest potential as right-brain training is best done when young. I included various activities into teaching to make it fun and enjoyable for my students, especially preschoolers as their attention span is low, hence they require more hands on activities to get their learning started. The teaching plan has incorporated in songs, colouring and playing meaningful science games. I have also taught children aged 9-12 creative story writing, which broadened their vocabulary and they learnt creative phrases to use for storytelling. I can easily adapt to different students and their learning styles, and I will be catering to their learning methods using strategies to help them as best as possible. I will also be providing them with weekly feedbacks and areas to improve on so that they can work on those.
