I have taught in schools for a total of 10 years. I am a well-liked educator with a burning passion for Science and Mathematics. When I graduated from my honours programme, I was awarded 'The Singapore Mathematical Society Book Prize' for being the best student teacher in Mathematics in the Bachelor of Science (Education) (Secondary) programme. I have almost ten years of teaching experience in mainstream schools as a Mathematics and Biology teacher; and over six years of experience as a private tutor. As a recent A level graduate who the notoriously rigorous H2 Further Mathematics, classmates and peers heavily relied on me for frequent help with mathematics, including both basic concepts from O level additional mathematics (this being assumed knowledge for H2 mathematics students in JC) and basic concepts taught in H2 mathematics itself. Final A level grades for H2 mathematics and h2 further mathematics were A and B respectively. As a bonus, having effectively spent half my JC life doing mathematics, I have amassed a wealth of tips and tricks on using the graphing calculator (GC) that JC students will unavoidably have to use. I am able to help students fully utilize the calculator to check and recheck their working to the point that they score the most marks from intermediate working even if they do not arrive at the final answer, as well as avoiding human errors when proceeding from one line of working to the next in the first place.
