I am a passionate, energetic teacher from the United Kingdom with a wide knowledge base who has worked in Hong Kong, Vietnam and, for the past 6 years, in Singapore. I taught English tuition for 4 years enjoying a great deal of success with a 100% pass rate in my PSLE students. I then transitioned to teaching at an international school in Dempsey where I've been since 2022. While at this school, I have developed an inquiry led approach to learning which has yielded great results, improving students mathematics, reading and writing results by almost 30% on average.

As a highly motivated and experienced tutor, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a strong foundation in the subjects they are studying. With over 8 years of experience tutoring students, I have honed my teaching methods to be both effective and engaging. My approach emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of foundational concepts. Through my guidance and support, many of my students have achieved significant improvements in their grades. My previous Sec 1 student had improved from grades C6 to B4 and another student in Sec 3 E.Maths improved from E8 to C5. In 2018, one of my students was aiming for Normal Academic and had math and science grades of D. I managed to motivated my student to give his best and he successfully obtain a PSLE aggregate of 200 and got into Express instead, something I am very proud of. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I am committed to providing individualized support to help each student reach their full potential. I look forward to using my experience and expertise to help more students excel in their academic pursuits.
