I am an ex-MOE teacher with more than 20 years teaching experience. My speciality is in helping secondary school students in Emaths and Amaths, especially those sitting for 'N' & 'O' level exams. Previously, I taught in two heartland secondary schools and two well-known tuition centres. Friendly and approachable, I treat my students with patience and respect. During lessons, relevant examples are shown with clear explanations, so that students can understand concepts correctly. I will also provide a wide variety of questions for practice, compiled from various textbooks, assessment books and past year school exams papers. Students are also encouraged to let me know their doubts and difficulties faced. Outside of lesson time, they can whatsapp me any questions they do not understand, and I will reply their messages promptly. My aim is to help students (re)gain confidence and mastery in Maths, so that they can also improve in their school performance. I am a university undergraduate currently studying Accountancy and Finance at the University of London. I specialise in Maths at any level from Pre-School to Secondary School. My love for maths actually played a part in me choosing to take up Accountancy and Finance as my Diploma and even continuing to pursue it as my degree. Back in primary and secondary school, I was known to be very good at maths, to the point where I would help my friends out with assignments. My teaching style would be to make sure that my students understand any maths concept that I teach so that they can do well for their exams.

She had improved from a 40 plus marks to a B in PSLE. In secondary school, she was achieving 80 plus for her Secondary 4 EMath exams. My previous student from St Hilda's Primary, improved from 60 plus in Primary 4 to 90 plus mark in Primary 5 for English. My class has also improved by a MSG of 1-2 for EL and Math from P5 to the P6 Mid year exams.
