I am a relatively easy-going and patient tutor with 4 years of experience working at tuition centres, with me being the main science tutor as my most recent centre for the past 2 years. I am teaching at Meow Tuition Centre, Little over 3 years. Also, Outclass Academy, 2 years. I have a wide range of students from different schools. For Combined Chem/Phy Generally Improved at least 2 grades, with a substantial amount of students scoring A1/A2 last year for O levels. Students generally see a 2 grade improvement after being under my care, with some students even going from D7/C6 to A2/A1. I believe that when my teaching style is a good fit to the student, the student will feel the benefits to both the way I deliver the lesson, as well as my tips and tricks towards studying and memorising content.

I have experience teaching at a tuition center, providing 1-to-1 private tuition, as well as conducting enrichment classes at local schools. My students come from all walks of life, ranging from primary school children to adults. I have experience teaching primary school students for a year and I helped them to clarify concepts that they are unsure of and broke them down into much simpler ideas for them to grasp. I am currently a JC student and I can teach math, physics, chemistry and english. I helped a primary 5 girl in foundation math improve from a fail to an A and another boy managed to achieve straight As for PSLE. I once struggled very hard with understanding of certain concepts and that helps me to find out what students are struggling with better too, especially for secondary school subjects.

I have ten years of teaching in both MOE and International Schools as a teacher, Head of Department and IBDP Coordinator at Shanghai Singapore International School.
