Improved from C in Bio and B in Math to A in both subjects - Sec 2 Girl NA Science: Teaching since sec 1. Very weak basics but willing to learn. Worked on her fundamentals and now gaining confidence. Improved from D to B for her finals. - Sec 2 Boy Exp English: Teaching since sec 1. He had a lack of interest and focus and was very weak in comprehension. Had to sit and talk to him to get him to put in more effort and think out of the box. Is able to do Exp level comprehensions now too. Improved from a F to C in his past finals. -Sec2 Boy NA English & Science: Teaching since 2021. Lack of interest and weak fundamentals. Made him gain confidence first to gain morale before working on his fundamentals. English improved from D to B and Science went from C to A.

I have taught in Victoria Junior College for H2 and H3 Mathematics from 2005 to 2022. My usual methodology will begin with trying to find out what a student knows about a particular concept, or what so they want to know about a particular concept, It could be them trying to teach me how to solve a problem, while i ask questions to probe their understanding. After the gaps in content have been identified, we will proceed to breech the gaps using materials that their school has provided, supplemented with other resources if necessary. Nearer to exams, I usually focus on exam techniques such as psychology, time management and question reading.
