I have 17 years of experience teaching O level and IGCSE A math, E math, Pure Physics, Pure Chemistry and Combined Sciences, with 3 years being full time tuition centre tutor and 14 years as a freelance private tutor. In general, I will focus first on helping the student do well for the upcoming tests so that the student can gain confidence and interest in the subject. When the current topics are mastered, I will go through the past topics to ensure the student's foundation is reinforced. Then we will work on future topics and aim to cover the whole syllabus before the school does. I am good at making complex concepts easy to understand so that students can learn selected topics fast and see improvements in the subject right away. Whether a student is currently F9 or A1, I can help them progress and secure A1 in the shortest amount of time.

For my tuition centre, children normally show an improvement of 1-2 grades as they learn how to close the gaps in their learning e.g. Sec 1 Math: D->B or B->A/P4 English: C->B I have two years of experience in teaching Secondary 1 Mathematics and Primary 4 Mathematics - from lesson plans to implementation. Through integrating hands-on activities and kahoots, there was a positive change in the students' attitude towards mathematics and they were able to close the gap between B and A grade. Additionally, my current major in Chemistry allows me to have a more comprehensive grasp of science and math hence tutoring the O levels and A levels syllabus is within my capabilities.

I am a relatively easy-going and patient tutor with 4 years of experience working at tuition centres, with me being the main science tutor as my most recent centre for the past 2 years. I am teaching at Meow Tuition Centre, Little over 3 years. Also, Outclass Academy, 2 years. I have a wide range of students from different schools. For Combined Chem/Phy Generally Improved at least 2 grades, with a substantial amount of students scoring A1/A2 last year for O levels. Students generally see a 2 grade improvement after being under my care, with some students even going from D7/C6 to A2/A1. I believe that when my teaching style is a good fit to the student, the student will feel the benefits to both the way I deliver the lesson, as well as my tips and tricks towards studying and memorising content.
