The E maths Secondary 4 student has yet to take her O Levels but she has been showing significant improvement in her daily work. Practicing of her past year papers have shown an improvement of an average of 43 marks to 60 marks.

In my experience learning and teaching my peers during my years of study, my peers have described me as patient and understanding, being able to understand their problems and breaking down the concepts for them. Passionate for learning, I was offered both H3 physics and Chemistry, which I chose to take H3 Chemistry. Was awarded the Principal's Honour Roll in JC. I have 2 years of experience teaching for JC 1 and 2 and Secondary 2. Taught a National Junior College J2 girl for a year, where after the tuition her grades improved from S/U to B for chemistry and physics in the GCE A levels. Taught a Catholic Junior College girl from J1 to J2, after the tuition her grades improved from C to A in the GCE A levels. I was chosen to represent my school to participate in “reading with LianHua” to engage with primary one school students from Lian Hua Primary. The program was meant to pair up secondary school students with primary one students, such that we can teach them how to read as wellas phonics. It lasted for about half a year which enriched me with the experience to work with young kids as well as improve my teaching skills as we are supervised throughout the program and the primary school teachers were there to guide us further. I also helped tutor/ studied with my friend in secondary 3, throughout the entire secondary 3, my friend has never once passed math, but I was there to help and tutor him which lead to him getting double A1 for both Amath and Emath in Olevels
