I have been teaching part-time tutoring since 2018 and switched to full time since 2022 for primary students coming from top primary schools ; Red Swastika, Tao Nan School Haig Girls. CHIJ Katong mainly from the East side. I am familiar with the different school structure and needs from these schools and also helpful when my own children are from Taonan School and my eldest child, fully tutored by myself with my carefully planned curriculum that had helped her to get pretty good results ( AL 6 ) for her PSLE! As I have lived in HK for more than 15 years, I was also exposed to their international and local curriculum from elementary to primary school syllabus and hence like to adopt a more lively teaching style to make these young kids like the subjects in a less traditional approach. My strengths are not limited to using the traditional way to tutoring the Primary students solely on academic results. I was also exposed to the IB curriculum when I was residing in Hong Kong/ China for more than 15yrs before I moved my children back from ( international curriculum ) and adapting them to Top Primary school SAP environment ( Taonan ) I totally understand foreign students that relocate from other countries and needed someone that is holistic and very understanding in the transition period to adapt to SG education takes a lot more than mere tutoring. I used my experience from relocation from overseas back to SG and successfully nurtured more than 10 children successfully with the transition and a lot of focus on counseling for both the kids and parents' mindset to achieve the ultimate results they want eventually. I can speak fluent English( no Singlish) , Mandarin, and Cantonese. My highest education is Bachelor in Business Marketing from an Australian University which I won their Scholarship among 300 applicants. I used to recruit MBA students into a Boston MBA program, co-owned a boutique business consultancy firm in HK and now I would like to use my passion in teaching to help local students find joy in learning and yet able to achieve results for their PSLE year..
