Last year, I have tutored two 'N' level students for physics. Within 6 months (April to September), one improved from F9 to A2 and the other improved from F9 to B4. Both were able to promote to study 'O' levels. When I teach, I hope to help students improve on their weaker areas/topics. To really find out why they are struggling with them and come up with ways to help them grasp the concept. If it is something I am not sure of, I will be honest with them and tell them that I do not understand either. However, I will promise to get back to them on their doubts and ensure that I will be able to have answers for them the next lesson.

Tutor Experiences: She has been in Singapore for 21yrs. Currently a full time tutor with 18yrs tutoring experience. She currently has 15 students ranging from primary & secondary levels. She is also able to teach JC levels. She teaches Chinese language. She is also experienced in teaching foreign students and students from international schools as well as local MOE schools Different approaches should be adopted for different students. For P1 to P4 students, focus should be on the student's pinyin and literacy ability. For P5 & P6, will need to incorporate more idioms and grammar exercises and cultivate listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as doing more test papers. It can also be taught in combination with actual situations to improve the students' ability to use the language. The most important thing is the practice of composition. For secondary level, she thinks it is important to encourage student to read more newspapers and magazines to build their vocabulary bank. It is also important to work on proposition composition as well as how to properly respond to
