I am a recent Singaporean graduate from NTU. I majored in Economics and specialised in Finance. I am keen to tutor tertiary students (JC, IB, polytechnics and universities) in various Economics and Finance modules. The areas which I am knowledgeable in include: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economists, Statistics, Social Science Research, Econometrics (STATA or SPSS), International Trade, Personnel Economics, Public Policy (Singapore etc.), Financial Economics, Corporate Finance, International Finance and the like. As for experience wise, I have been tutoring since my Junior College days. Moreover, I was shortlisted by the NTU Economics division to be the peer tutor for the module, Intermediate Macroeconomics, from February 2018 to April 2018. I am only able to commit during the weekends because I hold a full-time role as well. All in all, I prefer teaching Chinese female students. Please feel free to enquire. Thank you.

I have approximately 2 years of tutoring experience before and after my serving my NS. Till date i have taught 3 students, all which have shown gradual improvement in their grades over the months. Personally, there is no fixed method to how i tutor the students; instead i will cater to how they learn best and focus best. I do however prefer to take a guiding approach when tutoring for i believe spoonfeeding answers does not bring about results.

I had taught for 3 years in my schooling days. Many of my students do exceptionally well in their examinations after being taught by me for a few months. I personally marked all my students homework and return to them the next lesson. I believe that no child is stupid and results are only determined by hardwork and perseverance.

My students are from Guangyang Sec school, AMK Sec school etc.

I will be going to NUS after my NS.
