I am currently also giving tuition to primary school students in a tuition centre. My mother has been a home tutor for decades and I have had the privilege of picking up tutoring skills from her through my own observations throughout the years, and am looking forward to be able to put these skills into good use. I am comfortable with younger students as I have interacted with my mother¢__Ô_æ¢s students. Moreover, as the the eldest daughter/granddaughter, I have had the experience of taking care of younger children. I look forward to be able to groom my future students and maximize each of their potential!

I am looking to teach Kindergarten and Primary School students in English and Mathematics. For English tuition, I would strive to not only allow the students to excel in their syllabus, but also cultivate an interest in the English Language ¢__Ô_‹Ð as it has always been my personal philosophy that it is important to be passionate in the Languages in order to master them. As for Mathematics, I hope that the students would not only learn how to answer the questions, but also, gain a real understanding of the topics, so as to build a solid foundation for their future learning.

I did coaching to my younger sibling(1) as well as my cousin(1) for about half a year on lower secondary subjects like math science and Chinese. They made improvements for that particular chapter.

For question solving, i will direct them to the answers by giving hints on how they should apply the knowledge learnt for the particular topic.

For understanding of a topic or chapter i usually draw a mind-map of everything and provide examples to that particular segment.

Scored A1 for A and E maths in O levels from CHIJ St Nicholas Girls, went to Raffles for JC 3 years of tutoring between 2015-2018. Subject taught: lower sec maths, upper sec maths, bio and chemistry. A and E maths student improved from D7/C6 to A2 in O levels in the span of 6 months. Student was from Chung Cheng High Yishun in 2016.

Hi! I have 15 years of teaching experience as a student care Chinese teacher and I have 2 years teaching experience as a chinese tuition teacher for primary school Chinese! Through my tuition, my students have gained interest in the subject and significantly improve their Chinese grades!

Besides teaching other students, I teach chinese to my own son(primary 4) as well and he has been consistently getting stellar results in the subject!

I have been tutoring secondary A/E math, Chinese and Chemistry since JC and I have received quite a few positive feedbacks. Students like the notes and assignments i prepared for them, as they are different level of difficulties that build up stronger problem solving skills. I have also taught two students in H2 math and H1 Econs after I graduated from CJC. One student improved from an S grade to B in her Econs Promotional exam.

I would mostly use examples or questions to teach the students, as it would show their degree of understanding. For language subjects, I would expose them to a wider variety of reading materials so that they could pick up the way certain words are used.
