I graduated with a NUS High School of Math and Science Diploma with Distinction in 2012, (GPA of 4.4/5) with Majors with Honours in Mathematics and Physics. At NUS High, I studied math and science subjects at a level above most A-Level students. I also performed two scientific research projects: one was published in an international journal, other was finalist at SSEF. I served as student councillor and house captain in high school, and was awarded PSC Singapore Government Scholarship in 2013.

Having not gone through the O- and A-level systems, I believe I can bring a fresh and unique perspective to mastering the content and tackling problems. I'm not a fan of rote learning; instead I believe in learning through comprehension and intuition. I also believe that everyone should be given the chance to pursue their aspirations. NUS High taught me that there is value in doing things differently from the majority.
