The previous year i tutored a primary 6 kid 2 months before PSLE mathematics.I am currently teaching 1 sec 1 NA and 1 sec 2 NA kids mathematics and science. I specialise in helping to bridge the gap from foundation math in primary school to secondary school group 2 math. I aid the students in preparing concise notes tailored to their level of understanding while focussing on their mistakes. I recently graduated from Anderson Serangoon JC and during my time as. JC student, I volunteered at an organisation called EduHope SG to tutor the less privileged kids. Despite my busy school schedule and exams around the corner, I managed my time well and freed my Tuesdays evening to travel all the way to Kembangan for lessons. Despite being there for around a year, I once tutored a Secondary 4 student that was really struggling with maths and science right before his O-level exam. From getting a C in his Preliminary exams, he greatly improved himself in just a few months to score A1 in his Emath, A2 in his Amath and Chemistry. Though the results might not be the best, I believe it was a huge improvement to make in such a short period of time. I aided him to identify the basic errors and areas that he was weak in and tapped on those to close the gaps. I also taught him how to make notes to summarise the content for easier revision. I recommended him my ways of studying for my O-level which I got 12 raw. Though it's not fantastic, I believe my method and teaching style are approachable and easy to understand. I scored a double A1 on my Math and A2 for elective History. In JC, I did relatively well and got B in my History and GP as well. Hence I am confident in the subject I teach and aim to deliver results.

I am now teaching at Marsiling Secondary school. I started teaching tuition since 2016. I taught 4 students from 2016 to 2020 and in 2024. My first student (AMath) from 2016 to 2017 improved from F9 to B4 in O levels. My second student (AMath) from 2018 to 2019 improved from D7 to A2 in O levels. My third student (EMath) from 2019 to 2020 improved from C6 to A1. My last student in 2024 came to me in Sec 4 and improved from F9 to A1. He passed for the first time after I starting teaching him. I taught in Think Academy Singapore for P5 and P6 Math Olympiad as well as PSLE Mathematics between 2021 and 2022. In 2023, I signed with NIE as an untrained teacher and taught in a Secondary school, teaching Sec 2 Express, Sec 3 N(A) and Sec 3 Express. In 2024, I went to NIE. NUS Mathematics & PDGE in Math (first subject) and Science (second subject) In 2025, I am current teaching Sec 1 G1, Sec 2 G3 and Sec 3 G2. I am a teacher that enjoys teaching young minds and helping them realise their potential. I believe that students have different learning needs and at times, they just require the right method for them to understand a certain concept (e.g., kinesthetic learner, visual learner etc.,). I am also patient with students as I believe as educators, we must have the patience for students who require more time to understand as at times, they just need the confidence to tackle mathematic problems. A teaching method I adopt especially in Mathematics is to ensure my students understand what they are trying to learn instead of forcing them to memorise formulas. Especially for EMath, my target is to link to real-world application towards the topics the learn. For AMath, my target is to help students understand better the topics they go through and explain further the idea of topics. I also believe that students who are overloaded with Math will feel overwhelmed with the learning. Hence, picking out the right topics and learning style for students is important to help them move forward and enjoy the topic.
