I am a dedicated IGCSE Physics Tutor at MathVision and and tigercampus tution centre I have a focused commitment to helping students excel in their studies. Since starting in October 2022, I have taught over 80 students, tailoring lessons to fit their individual learning needs and helping them prepare for their exams with specialized study materials and past paper practice. My approach is hands-on, creating personalized notes for each student to enhance their understanding and retention of physics concepts. In addition to my role at MathVision, I have provided online tutoring at Schoolhouse.world in MYP Grade 9-10 Maths and Physics, where I have given comprehensive feedback and helped students set and pursue their academic and career goals. Studied the IB myself and achieved a score of 44/45 with a 7 in physics HL and A in physics EE.

I'm Helen, a Chinese-American expat with 10 years of corporate work experience. I'm an IB graduate with a Master's Degree from Carnegie Mellon University. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz. I have 3 years experience teaching Kumon math and reading to children 3-12 years old. I have also taught English to a Chinese-Japanese student while living in Japan for one summer. I'm a native English speaker and proficient in speaking Chinese. I'm excited to meet your kids and help them with their development!

Formerly teaching in Pei Cai Secondary school and left in 2004. I was able to achieve excellent grades for Math and Science subjects in my school years due to a deep appreciation for these subjects. Not only that, but I was able to imbue such appreciation to my students (those who were keen to learn and not just wanting to focus on grades), such that one PRC student, after graduating from Sec 4, actually told me that she fell in love with Physics because of my teaching. Besides teaching Physics and Math in secondary school as a teacher, I also tutored secondary students in E/A Math, Physics, Chemistry, as well as JC students in Physics and Math C.

I am a HCI alumni in IP. I will help students get better grades with my fun personality. I have guided a few of my friends during secondary school, when they were weaker in their mathematics, to help them do better in their re-exams and assignments. I will impart tips and techniques on what to look out for during the exams, whilst also giving some advice and experiences that I have for their future journey ahead.
