I am a full-time tutor currently working with 15 students across a wide age range, from toddlers (20 months to Primary 3 (age 9). My students include children in N1, N2, K1, K2, P1, P2, and P3. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, an ECDA L2 teaching license, and a Jolly Phonics certificate, with 13 years of experience teaching children aged 0–8. I have a strong understanding of how young children learn and believe in differentiated instruction to support individual learning needs. I design meaningful and engaging lessons using strategies such as storytelling, role-play, open-ended questioning, and hands-on learning. For literacy, I incorporate phonics and sight words to build confident readers and writers. For numeracy, I use visual aids like number lines and ten frames, as well as concrete materials such as counters and linking cubes, to support conceptual understanding. My P3 student is currently taking AEIS Math, no primary school yet. International student. One P2 child Math from Nan Hua.   Two P1 children English. One is Clementi, the other in Nan Hua. One P1 Math international student, both English and Math — sitting for AEIS Math. No primary school yet I am a trained early childhood educator with a degree in Education. With 12 years of experience in preschool education, I have developed a deep understanding of how young children (0-8 years old) learn. With this understanding, I am able to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for my students. I believe that every child learns differently and it is essential for the educator to use differentiated teaching instructions to scaffold the children's learning, gradually building their skills and knowledge by providing the right level of guidance as they progress. This approach ensures that children are both challenged and supported, fostering independence and confidence in their abilities. Back at where I was working, I reviewed existing lesson plans across all learning areas based on educators’ reflection to make teaching and learning more effective. I have a L2 teaching license.

I have been a preschool Tamil Teacher for 4 years. I used to teach preschoolers for about a year. The children became more interested in Tamil Language, increasing their willingness to learn more. I have one year of experience teaching Primary 3 and Primary 5. They made improvements in the one year I was teaching them. As a preschool teacher, I have written a curriculum for the school from Nursery 1 - Kindergarten 2. I am very passionate about the language and I just do not want children to simply excel in the Language but also love the language.

I am a university graduate who wants to give back to society by imparting my knowledge and skills to potential students. My ultimate goal is to ensure that the student will be able to learn in a stress-free environment as much as possible, while also being able to do well academically. Although I do not have prior teaching experience, I plan to make my math lessons fun and engaging, by incorporating the math I teach into real-life concepts! The typical length of a lesson would be a minimum of 2 hours, subject to change with reference to student needs and my availability.

I was the recipient of the Chinese Language Elective Scholarship in secondary school. I have experience teaching young children (3 years old) the chinese language.

I am currently providing lessons for a K2 kid on Phonics, Chinese, English, Math and a P1 kid on Math. I just started tutoring in February this year to gain experience in teaching young children and be more aware of what they learn before entering primary school. Now, I'm looking for lower primary school students to tutor to further expose myself to teaching a slightly higher level of education and slowly work my way up. I consider myself a patient individual and will try to motivate students to do their work and improve. I believe that it is important to set the correct foundation and habits at a young age as this will come in handy when children enter secondary and eventually tertiary level of education. I prefer face to face tutoring as I am physically there to see how the students do their work. I also prefer a quiet space with no distractions when conducting tutoring lessons as young kids can easily lose concentration with what is around them.
