I have taught many of my peers in school in the aspects of math and science which gave me a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. I have also signed up for a junior help program in secondary school in which I will have to commit to coming back to my secondary school to teach a junior who needs help in science , which was back in my JC days. I helped the junior improved from a C6 to an A2. However, it was his change of attitude that was the biggest takeaway for him. He was no longer afraid of science tests and became more interested in the subject. I have always tried my best to spark the student's interest in the subjects I teach and I am confident I can peak his interest .

Am interesting in teaching Primary School Math from P1 to P6. My aim is to help students brush up/fine tune topics in Math which they feel require assistance, and occasionally design exercises and short quizzes to boost their confidence in that subject. New to the part time official private tutor role. However, I had taught some of my PSLE cousins who had difficulties in answering PSLE related Math problems. Because of this, their knowledge of tricky topics have improved dramatically and one of them went on to score from a B in prelims to an A in PSLE, and is currently studying at Anglican High. I'm an English language coach, having worked in both Vietnam and Singapore throughout the last 3 years. I have a bachelors degree and am TEFL certified. I have extensive experience in teaching Phonics for lower levels (K1 & K2), and all other components for lower primary levels. I have a relaxed, yet goal driven teaching method and can adapt as necessary. I have been playing and teaching golf from a young age, and can create fun lessons and games to make it enjoyable to all levels. I'm a keen kickboxer, and have been practising the art for 4 years. I love the physical and mental aspects thereof, and what it can do for a person's wellbeing.

I’ve been teaching humanities and Chinese since 2016 in both secondary schools (relief teaching) and private tuition. I taught H1 Chinese to students from TJC and CJC. Was also invited by MOE to do those 课文欣赏 reading in the textbook. I also won the Wan Boo Sow prize for topping cohort for one of the Chinese modules. My students who studied Chinese/CSE/Econs/history/SS under me have seen their grades improve by at least 2 grades in 1 semester, and I have been consistently producing distinction students at the O levels & A levels. My most recent DHS H2 student in 2022 received A. My students either received A or B in their A level exams.
