I am currently a Year 2 Aerospace Engineering student in NTU. I was on the dean's list for year 1, and my current CGPA is 4.92/5.0. Previously, I was from Anderson Junior College, and i obtained a rank point of 85/90. I got A for H2 Math, H2 Chemistry, H2 Physics and H1 Economics. I was the top student in my cohort for H2 Math in year 1 of Junior College. I have 1 year of experience, teaching H2 Math previously. My method of teaching is to assist in the thinking process, rather than just spoon feeding the answers.

I have 5 years of teaching Pure Chemistry as a school teacher and 7 years as a private tutor teaching the same subject. Half my last school form class scored distinctions and all my tuition students scored As or Bs. All three of my tuition students scored distinctions last year. Two of these students' grades improved from failing grades to A2. I provide my personalized notes and worksheets that follow the latest O level syllabus. However, I believe in helping students find meaning in their learning instead of just memorising content and doing numerous worksheets and ten year series. Quality learning is more important than quantity writing. Last three students O level results got either A1 or A2. Pure Chemistry. Two boys from Nan Chiau Secondary One girl from Spore Sports Sch Past records, students moved from failing grades to at least B3 and above.

Mathematics has always been my strong suit since Primary School and I have always been confident in my Mathematics abilities. Having just ended my A-Levels, I am hoping to offer part-time tutoring services to those that require help in the subject. I currently have one student in Sec 3 whom I am tutoring for the subject of Mathematics. My classes have proven to be useful to her as she is better able to understand concepts and has become quicker at solving math problems. I am an outgoing and friendly tutor but can also be strict and firm when required. I believe in connecting with my students properly to fuel their motivation and self-discipline in the subject and will try my best to make learning enjoyable and interactive for them and increase their interest in the subject.
