I started in the early childhood industry 8 years ago when I was 18. I started with reading and writing at an enrichment centre, where I worked with children from 18 months to 2 years for playgroup lessons, and 3 to 7 year olds for phonetics. I eventually moved to a preschool setting while I completed my Diploma in Early Childhood Education at Temasek Poly as a part time student. I have 4 years of experience teaching Kindergarten level. Besides teaching children, I also create English learning resources based on the child's level.

Fultlime tutor specialise in Chinese More than 20 years tutoring experience I did translation work (eng-ch or ch-eng) in various companies and private centres before. I've taught an 8-year-old Tamil girl Chinese from scratch and a SOTA Sec 3 Eurasian girl to better her reading, oral, and writing skills in the Chinese language. I am a part-time tutor who has helped many students achieve their desired academic performance in the past 4 years. I have always adopted the metacognitive framework in my teaching approach, to allow my students to become active learners as they engage in challenging tasks. So instead of just equipping my students with the subject knowledge, I am teaching them how to learn better. What is important when it comes to teaching is how to nurture interests and motivate the student to want to find out more about the subject.
