I have been teaching accounting and finance diploma in a local polytechnic as well as university courses for more than 10 years. I have been awarded best teaching awards by the schools in recognition of teaching excellence as well as my students' excellent results under my guidance. I have taught POA to secondary school students who later on pursued ACCA and under my guidance they were able to achieve excellent results in their exams. Many of my ex-students are now working in accounting firms.

For the past 2 years, I have worked in a local airline and served as a Vice-Head in Knowledge Development to 20 people. As there were many examinations and tests throughout the year, this position gave me the opportunity to tutor and guide my fellow colleagues in areas that they were struggling with, in order to pass the important examinations. These areas include the application of Mathematics and Physics theories and how they relate to the world of aviation. My teaching style is to simplify complex theories into bite-sized information, which makes it easy to remember, and to retrieve when needed. Besides teaching experiences in a workplace environment, I have tutored my cousin in Mathematics for O levels in 2019. She went from a C6 to an A2. Due to COVID, I have since lost my job and am currently continuing my studies as an undergraduate, studying Marketing. This further strengthens my knowledge in Economics and Mathematics. I hope to be able to share the useful knowledge, tips and tricks that I have gathered throughout my years of studies with my fellow students. My goal is to be able pique and interest for learning and to nurture a curious mind for knowledge.

I'm currently in my third year at Singapore Management University studing Business Management. I've attended Haig Girls' School, Tanjong Katong Girls' School and Temasek Junior College. My PSLE grade for Math is B. For O Levels, my Math grade was A2 and lastly, for A Levels, it was B. Ive been tutoring part-time for about 2 years now. All my students are in primary school, the youngest being P1 and the oldest being P4. I've tutored math to two P1 children before so I'm familiar with the syllabus. As math is their strong suit, there wasn't much room for improvement for these students. Their math scores for their tests are usually around 80% to 90%. I've only been tutoring my younger siblings, whom are in upper primary level, for a year to prepare them for examinations and tests, sometimes even homework. That being said, I would be familiar with the primary school syllabus. My siblings have improved from 36% to 74%. Recently, one of my siblings have achieved A for English, and B for Math for his PSLE. At the end of the day, I strive to see the people I teach improve and be more confident in themselves when tackling their various subjects.
