I am an undergraduate part time tutor with 3 years of experience. I teach primary, secondary and pre-tertiary level students in English-related studies. I have been tutoring in a certified education centre since 2018, and is involved in volunteer tutoring during my free time. I am a patient tutor and I am dedicated to ensure that my students understand the basic concepts so that they can enjoy and at the same time boosting their confidence in solving math question. I am also aware of the challenges faced by secondary students when solving maths as I am teaching another Secondary 2 Express student and a Secondary 4 IP student. I prepare my own materials as well. I am approachable and contactable outside tutoring session so students can ask me questions whenever they are stuck when solving questions. Yet, I can also be strict when required, depending on the students' learning needs. I explain using various methods to ensure that my students are able to grasp the concept. I am determined to see the improvements made by my students, in terms of attitude and skills, as those are part of the joy in teaching! My grades for the relevant subjects are E-Math (A1), A-Math (A1), H2 Maths (A) and Calculus for Computing in NUS (A+).
