I was teaching in Nan Chiau High school up to end 2015. Having graduated with a bachelor degree in pharmaceutical science and achieving a specialist diploma in teaching and learning from NIE, I have been actively involved as an educator in the academic growth of students in both a government school (Nan Chiau High School) and private sector (CDAC, home tuition). I have tutored students of all academic backgrounds, ranging from Sengkang Secondary School, to the IP track in Nanyang Girls High, and have achieved an 85% distinction rate for the GCE 'O' Level. I'm also flexible in the platforms used to teach, be it online coaching (Zoom / Skype) to face-to-face sessions. With 9 years and counting of teaching experience, I'm sure that I'll be the right tutor and mentor for your child. 2020 results: Students scored A1 for Sec 4 IP Chem (Nanyang girls), Sec 2 IP Science (SCGS), S3 E/A Maths (Nan Chiau High School), Sec 2 Maths from Paya Leave Methodist Girls School (A1) and S1 Lower Secondary Science. 2 students scored A2 for Secondary 3 A maths. Students who attempted O levels were from Chung Cheng High (Main) and St hilda's. Currently taking IP Chem (ACSI, Dunman High), Mathematics (SCGS IP), S1 IP Maths and Science (Nanyang girls). For non-IP tracks, I'm currently taking Sec 3 / 4 Pure Chem, E/A mathematics and Sec 2 Maths and Science.

From 2014-2017, I privately tutored a Polytechnic student in Mathematics. He was on the Lee Kuan Yew scholarship as well as the Sng Yew Chong award winner, and managed to score a distinction for all his Mathematic modules (Engineering Mathematics and Applied Mathematics). From 2014-2016, I also privately tutored a Secondary 2 Normal Academic student in Mathematics and English. He rose from 58th in the level to become the top student in his cohort for the N levels. He scored A1 in both his Mathematics and English and graduated with an EMB3 score of 5. He was awarded the Top N Level Student Performer Award. While I specialise in Mathematics, I am also able to help in other topics if I have knowledge of it. I often help students with their essays and report writing as well.

I have recently graduated from Durham University with First Class Honours in English Literature. I have been studying literature formally in school since High School, where I attained a grade 7 in Higher Level English Literature in the IB Diploma Programme, as well as a grade A in my Extended Essay in English A: Literature. In school, I led the English Writing Workshop in Grades 11 and 12, where I tutored my fellow students in English Language and English Literature and helped to improve their grades. I look forward to treating each student with kindness and patience, and to potentially foster a love of literature in them, which grants us the invaluable gift of a more thoughtful and open mind. I studied Geography in Grades 9 through 12, achieving a grade 7 in Standard Level Geography.

I am currently a special education teacher at Delta Senior School, teaching students with special needs for 2 years. im currently pursuing my part-time degree in sociology. graduated from ngee ann poly. I am also on course in NIE for special education. I have also given tuition for 6-7 months. I also have a year worth of relief teaching experience. Being a special ed teacher, i use various teaching methods to teach my students maths, depending on one's capabilities. The level that i teach is equivalent to primary - secondary level. Besides that: I am a certified adult trainer, under the course WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance in IAL. I have 10 years worth of dance experience and have conducted a few dance classes and choreographed a few pieces for performances before.

I was teaching at Canberra Primary school and now a fulltime tutor I have been giving tuition for 21 years and had 4 years of school experience being an ex school teacher. I have some experience with some children with autism and other special needs. For home tuition, I am teaching English and math. Age ranges from 5-16 years old, many different schools too. My students’ grades range from F-A when I first take them and all would improve but significance depends on individual. Final results ranges from E to A*.
