All students obtained A1 for E math, while 2 students obtained A1 and 2 students obatined A2 for A math Taught 4 Primary school students so far. 3 P6 and 1 P4. All of the P6 students ( casuarina, maha bodhi and meridian) finished PSLE with A for math, a significant improvement from their C-B grades in school. About me: I'm bilingual (English and Chinese). Also, Being an engineer, I am good at analysing things and breaking things down step by step for others to understand, in a logical manner. I have just graduated from Hwa Chong Institution and finished my A' Levels examination this year (2020) and have no professional experience in tutoring. However, I have been able to help my friends with H2 Chemistry and H2 Biology as we prepared for the A' Levels Examination. While, I am not an experienced tutor, I believe that with the experience I have from the past year studying for the exam, it has allowed me to pick out important ideas to note, so as to ace the examinations. Moreover, I come up with interesting ways to look at the topic I'm learning which has also helped my friends understand them better. I believe I would be valuable in teaching not only the content required for Chemistry and Biology, but also the exam tactics and strategies that can help students score much higher for exams. In terms of grades, I have gotten A for both H2 Chemistry and H2 Biology for the Prelims examination. In addition to that, I scored a distinction for H3 Biology. From the past 2 years in JC, I have understood a lot about the way the examinations work and I hope you would trust me to improve on your grades.

I am an experienced former teacher with MOE where my lessons focus is on academic mastery (knowledge acquisition, grade improvement, exam skills & answering techniques). Having worked together with many students of varying abilities, I am able to engage well with students and get them interested in learning Science. Have had remarkable results in the past with students who managed to score A/A* for their PSLE. I have also coached many students, typical and with special needs (Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD) who were failing English and Science to As after a few months of tuition.
