I have more than 10 years experience in tutoring. I can communicate in Mandarin fluently and can effectively teach local and foreigner (Pre-School, Primary and Secondary student and Adults) English in an engaging manner. I have experience teaching local (Primary and Secondary) and Korean international students (Grade 1 to 10) English Tuition. My Korean students didn’t speak much English and I taught them basic, intermediate and advanced levels English. Lastly but not least, I taught my son phonics and basic English when he was a toddler. Right now, he is in Primary Four (Band one: Primary one to Four) and doing well in English.

They were able to speak the language moderately after a few months of tuition.  I have acquired 7 distinctions in O levels and performed extremely well, graduating from my Chemistry diploma with a cGPA of 3.98 achieving a diploma with merit (top 10% of the cohort) and the Lubrizol Southeast Asia Award.

I spent one year tutoring language and literature to IGCSE students in "test prep international" in which I made detailed programmes to guide students through their curriculum and develop their understanding of the subject. I specifically focused on essay structure and and analytical techniques as they are potent when aiming to score high.In doing so, three of the students I tutored went from grades C and B to A. I have also tutored students in the subjects of higher level biology and chemistry from the IB diploma and have significantly aided them in writing mark specific answers to maximise grades. In respect to chemistry, I emphasised on heavily solving previous question papers to grasp a proper understanding of the syllabus.

I have always been getting A for my math & science and am currently helping a sec 3 student with her math! she used to be borderline passing in sec 2, but now she scores around A/B and she even took up Amath! I am also currently teaching a P5 student who did not like Math at all, to help get him to approach Math positively and to understand the concepts better. Now, he is getting more interested in the subject than before and is making progress. Able to answer your Math & Science questions via WhatsApp. Passionate and patient, will try different ways to suit the needs of students. I believe that all students are different, so lets say if the students is more on the extroverted side, ill try to match my energy so as to communicate better with them. On the other hand, if they are on the introverted side, ill try to get to know them first and hope they can open up to me. With that, itll be easier for me to communicate with them & easier for them to take in the information too:) I have always have a heart for teaching/coaching, which is why i am always actively involved in school programme involving younger juniors, be it camps, or private tuition:) I have been teaching for quite some time, and I was a teacher at an after school care where i helped students which their homework by teaching and guiding them. I have found out that it is easier to capture student's attention with colours as well as fun examples, so I always make sure to incorporate as much variety as I can so as to boost their interest. I am confident that I will be able to teach the student well which the techniques and experiences I have.
