I have been working as a private home tutor since 2018. I enjoy conversing with children and teenagers as well as parents. Throughout the years of me tutoring, I realised that I have a knack of communicating in a way that the children and teenagers could accept. I believe in not only being able to educate academically, but also to connect on a deeper level with the children in order to understand them better, and through this, I will be able to craft up a better and more suitable plan to teach them so as to encourage and motivate them to study. I believe that forcing a student to study is not effective, motivating them to enjoy learning is the way to go. My students enjoy learning with me, including those students who are very picky with choosing their tutors. All parents have given feedback that their children enjoy my lessons and they fully trust me in educating their children, both academically and holistically.

I have 18 years of teaching experience (home tutoring) specialising in Math & Science. I provide small group tuition, either 1-to-1 or 2-to-1, catering to the needs of the individual students, depending on their aptitude & tailor-made homework according to their ability to absorb and progress. This is to ensure each student can learn comfortably and make it to the best of her ability. Most of my students with good learning attitude have been able to improve much especially for Math, from 50%-60% to even 75%-90% and some even made it to the top schools. With 14 years of tutoring experience specialising in English, Literature and General Paper, I believe in the potential of my students and will help them to achieve their best. My students are usually able to score a minimum of A2 after their tuition sessions with me. In addition, I hold an international certificate from Cambridge in teaching English as a foreign language and am trained in teaching students whose first language is not English.
