i have 3years of tutoring experience, for primary school Chinese, Higher Chinese, mathematics and secondary school chinese Most of my students are international students or non-chinese learning chinese language in Singapore, i am effective in helping them improve as i am billingual trained. Usually students tend to see improvement in their grades within a term as they gradually improve and build a stronger foundation in the subjects. Related modules i have studied are Chinese History and literature, Fundamentals of translation, Speech and communication in Chinese, Writing for Chinese Media and professional communication. I also took the Higher Chinese modules for 10 years. As for mathematics i have been teaching children/juniors of my own as part of my passion for teaching. I was not doing well in mathematics when I was younger, but having a good tutor has improved my grades from a D grade to A for psle. Ever since then i always try to help children who are struggling with mathematics as i was once in their shoe 2024 - Still teaching most of the students from 2021 - Most of them have a good improvement for their Chinese Language Currently also - teaching P3 Indian student Chinese and Math - teaching a class of P6 student Chinese in a Tuition Center

I am Dhira, an international student from Indonesia who studied in Singapore since Secondary 3 and just finished my A-levels in 2021. I took double maths in secondary school and H2 further math in junior college. During my school years, I joined several math olympiads. Some of my achievements are Silver Award in Singapore Mathematical Olympiad (SMO) Open Section and Gold Award in American Mathematics Olympiads. I have one year experience of teaching Secondary 2 Normal Academic Math.

I am Tai Zi Xiang, a graduate from Hwa Chong Junior College in the class of 2021. I was part of the 6-year Integrated Programme in Hwa Chong, and enrolled in the highly competitive Science and Math Talent Programme (SMTP) during Junior College. My other accolades in Mathematics and Sciences include 3rd placing in the 2016 Australian Math Competition, and a Silver Award in the 2021 Singapore Science and Engineering Fair. While I do not have any past experiences in private tutoring, I have helped my two younger sisters, where we are all one year apart, achieve As in their Mathematics examinations. Having just graduated from Junior College myself, the contents of the Mathematics syllabus for both the A and O Level Examinations are still fresh in my mind. I am willing to go above and beyond for my students, addressing all their queries and supplying them with ample practice so that they gain the confidence to ace their Mathematics examinations with flying colours.

His grades improved from F9 to a B4/C5. I have also tutored a Sec 2 female student in literature and english; her grades improved from an A2 to A1. My focus when it comes to teaching is to break down difficult concepts and convey them in the most simple and clear manner possible. I believe having structure in my teaching is important, especially since the humanities are often taught in a 'go with the flow' manner, which is rarely useful for struggling students! I will ensure that students will be able to understand the concepts on a more nuanced level, vastly different from how school teachers teach. This is so that they will be able to solve a wider range of problems much more easily than if they were to just memorise formulas.
