I am waiting to pursue engineering and economics double degree programme at NTU in 2023. I am offering tutoring services for primary and secondary school students. I am able to tailor my lessons to the student's learning ability. I also have PYP papers and practice questions for students to try. As a late bloomer student myself, I understand the difficulties in trying to grasp abstract content knowledge from a student's perspective. I will be able to simplify the syllabus a student needs to know to help them learn and score better. I will also provide good tricks for studying and how to do well not only in the subject I teach but how to ACE exams overall. Over the last 2 years, I have also spent some time co-authoring assessments books with more established authors. They are: 1. P1 Master Maths Word Problems 2. P2 Master Maths Word Problems 3. P1 My Maths Buddy 1A / P1 My Maths Buddy 1B I currently have 2 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored 2 students each at the primary and secondary level. My student in P5 improved from AL6 to AL4 in the span of 6 months. My other students have also shown great improvements I am extremely flexible and passionate in helping my students do better. I hope to instil confidence in students and push them to be better beyond studying content. I can also provide advice on admissions and educational paths as a student mentor.

2021 - PSLE student. Taught Math and Science. Student achieved AL1 and 2 respectively for the subject. I am Teaching method - I teach students to be proactive in their approach to a subject. To do this, I emphasise less on blind practice and/or memorisation and more on understanding of concepts through visualisation, simple analogies, bite-sized piece information, understanding the bigger picture, and application of concepts in various situations. My teaching principle is that less is more ie one does not have to tax him/herself with too many practices but rather establishing his/her basics and building up from there. That way, he/she could tackle questions with varying difficulties actively instead of passively.
