I focused on teaching Primary 5 and 6 students on Maths and Science.

The reason why parents like my teaching method is that I don't just teach my students how to solve the problems in front of them. What I teach them is to think and reason with themselves. Because ultimately, each student will be by himself or herself during the examination. There will be no tutor sitting beside them to guide them to solve the problems during examination.

It is a major problem within Singapore children that they are unable to think by themselves. They will carry this problem down the road into their adulthood. So other than helping my students build up a strong foundation for maths and science. My goal is to teach this skill of independent thinking to students at a young age. Once they are into this habit of being able to think and reason by themselves, it will be easier as they move on to secondary, JC/Poly and then University level.

I have a degree in Economics from NUS and I'm currently taking a degree in Psychology. I only give one-to-one tuition as I believe a child needs close attention if a strong foundation is to be built. I also believe in working closely with the parents to build up a child's learning capability. Therefore I will always feedback to the parents on the child's progress.

i’m currently teaching at Pasir Ris secondary school, teaching maths and music I have been giving Chinese and Maths Tuition for the past 8 years with students ranging from K2 to J1. I have taught tutees who are foreigners(Indonesia Chinese) and Singapore non-Chinese students(Indian) students studying Chinese in school. I was also a tuition teacher in a tuition centre and have taught numerous students with various background. With the knowledge and experience, I will be able to guide your child to improvement in learning Mathematics and Chinese. I believe in a dual-conversation teaching approach whereby students will require to express themselves eloquently and not just focus on the writing aspect. I believe in developing the child holistically and I bring in many of my past life/study experiences in my teaching so students will be able to relate and learn better.
