I am on my final year in NUS currently, will be graduating next year May 2023 I have 5 years of tutoring experience, and have taught around 25 students in private tuition, with JC students from RI, HCI, JPJC, YJC and IJC in H2 Mathematics, Chemistry and Economics. I am currently teaching undergraduates as head teaching assistant in NUS as well in both Mathematics and Computer Science. I helped a CJC student who scored A from U in H2 Mathematics . My student from RI went from S (subpass in JC1) to an A grade - I still have her comments and testimonial and would send you later. My student from YJC went from U (failed in JC1) to A in his H2 Mathematics exam. All my other students achieved at least a 3-band jump from their previous band (typically E, S and U) to at least a B, and my students tend to do better if they have lessons over one year as compared to only half a year or shorter.

I am an Australian qualified lawyer who has a strong command of the English language. I am also familiar with the Singapore syllabus having completed my studies up to A-levels here at Raffles Junior College. Passionate about effective communication, I approach teaching English and creative writing in an unconventional way - I will initially program the mind of your child in such a way that they will be able to easily convey their ideas, thought process as well images into words. Next I will assist your child in fine tuning these words and bringing structure to this process so he/she is able to eventually speak and write with ease, maturity and confidence. I have 15 years of private tuition experience, teaching mainly Mathematics and Chemistry. Strategy: A firm believer of effective learning, I pay attention to the student's strengths and weaknesses so as to draw up unique lesson plans - focal points constantly revised along with moving targets. I impart confidence, curiosity, and creativity to my students to encourage independent learning. Track Record: Most of my students got A grade for H2 Mathematics and H2 Chemistry; a few got B grade. I have had two students who failed GCE 'A' Levels on their independent attempts but ended up passing with C grade under my care. Inspiration: Some of my students went on to major in Mathematics, Engineering, and Computing. I have 20 years of tutoring experience - part-time. I have 15years experience working in the preschool sector. I conducted creative writing for P6 and essay writing for secondary students at an enrichment centre in Bukit Batok from 2014 to 2017. My Bachelor of Science comes with focus on Literacy. I have my own Literacy Programme. This programme helps me to analyze individual student's learning needs. This has helped many students in the past achieve results even for those with dyslexia.
