I am a graduate of NUS majoring statistics. My passion in life is towards Math and helping kids understand the concepts of problem solving. I have achieve stellar grades in my O and A levels and understand clearly what is required for the students to achieve excellence in their studies.

I hope to be able to pass on this passion towards young children to let them understand the importance of good grades which will affect their future. I believe in one to one teaching as i will be able to track the pupil progress and give more practice for weaker topics.

I am currently teaching part time at kumon. I took econs maths and chem h2 and physics h1 in a levels, my results were AABB. After that i went to nus to study statistics. I am comfortable with teaching mathematics and science and able to guide the student along to achieve good grades. Practice and attitude will be more crucial as i would like the student to be more independent in their studies

I have taught 8 students and have 5 years of teaching experience in Maths, for both primary and secondary levels, and Science for primary levels. I have brought a Normal Technical student from failing maths and retaining to passing the subject and passing N Level. I have also taught maths as a relief teacher at Chung Cheng High School for 2 months.

Student moved to first class for Chinese with constant good results and option to select Higher Chinese for Primary 5.

After 1 yr, my student's math results have improved from a D7 to A2, and her science from D7 to B4. I also had experience in teaching in groups for Pri 4 students under a volunteer programme, and a short stint in teaching Sec1 Math to two students

I used to tutor regularly many years ago but had to stop due to commitments. After more than a decade, I have decided to go back to tutoring.

I have a year and a half of experience in teaching now in the English Language in a language center in an International School. I was teaching English to some Primary 2 Chinese students. There were unable to comprehend the English Language and they needed to sit for the AEIS test to be able to enter public schools. With much patience and practice, the students managed to enrol into public schools.
