I have been teaching for 6 years. When I first started, this boy from Maris Stella Boys was sec 1. I have coach him since then till now (doing his 'A' level 2017, obtained A1 for Chemistry, the subject I am teaching. Also, his mom sent me her 2nd child since sec 1 and now I am teaching him 'O' level chemistry. This year, the mother send me her 3rd child, a girl from CHIJ sec 1.

I have students from Maris Stella, Saint Nicks, Bowen Sec etc, average O level grade A1 to B3. Most start from D7 or worse grades.

I guess she is very please with my service and had informed me that her 4th child is taking PSLE next year and will send her to me as well when she reach sec 1.

I had also taught in 2 tuition centre (for 2 years) in serangoon area for both Biology & Chemistry.

After leaving the service, I have been specialising in teaching students with poor foundation, especially in oral exams, composition and comprehension. I am well equipped with the knowledge of the new syllabus as well as a set of teaching skills for transition from F2F to online lessons whenever is needed. We will work on word recognition, grammar and daily conversation, setting a good foundation for speaking and writing with less grammatical error. So, the lesson will be a protected time where the student gets to listen and speak Chinese during the lesson. Students will also learn grammar during lessons and apply writing techniques to expand their content while writing sentences and compositions. We follow the PSLE timeline to train students for all aspects of the language exam. As for the secondary level, I spend time on email writing, composition question analysis and oral exam skills based on social issues. We cover contextual knowledge through discussion, so the student can apply them in their writing or conversation. I also cover guidance on non weighted assessment

I have had 6 months of tutoring experience but it was for my cousins who were sec 2 and jc1. Initially they both failed at maths. For my younger cousin, he failed both A and E maths. And my older one got a S grade for her H2 math. After 3 months, younger cousin passed E and A maths and my older cousin got a D grade for her H2 maths
