I have over 15 years of teaching experience across Singapore, China, Cambodia, and Indonesia, supporting students aged 6 to 14 in both school and private tutoring settings. My passion is in teaching the English language and I have taught thousands of students for almost 20 years in different institutions. Currently, I teach Academic English in a private university in Singapore. I tutored a few local students for GCE 'O' Level English language in the past who had made significant progress from C5-C6 grades to B3-A1. Teaching Methods: Understanding the learning needs and style of each learner is very important and this can be done by some evaluation task such as speaking and writing. Pedagogies include: clear teaching of fundamentals; adequate input would produce favourable output; tailor teaching to learning style; revision of past lessons. Being patient and motivating are key to teaching. For examination performance, learning techniques give an edge.
