I specialise in teaching Secondary 3 & 4 Math, Biology, and Chemistry, with over 8 years of experience in both private tuition and tuition centres. I also prepare learning materials like revision notes and worksheet these centres and help refresh their content every year. My students are from various schools such as Nan Hua, Bukit Panjang, Yuan Ching, Boon Lay and Jurong secondary School. Most of my students were failing initially, and they improve from failing consistently to A2, B3 for Os! For those getting B3-B4 during sch exams managed to get A1/A2. I work closely with each student to strengthen their foundation first, then guide them through progressively tougher questions. I am able to break down complex concepts to simpler, digestible information for students to understand easily and remember. I like to keep lessons engaging too, so I mix in short games and quizzes to make learning a bit more fun. Over the years, many of my students have shown remarkable improvements. Some went from consistently failing to scoring A2/B3 for O-Levels, and a few even jumped three grades in a few months.

I have no experience in teaching but in primary to secondary school my Chinese is always a A in class and top 1-2 in the entire level. During my school time I will also helped my friends in some part that they don’t understand, it can be the paper 1 composition or paper 2 comprehension. Im able to teach them and let them understand the question and how they should answer. Therefore, I decided to help more students whom have difficulty understanding Chinese. Tutored upper primary children at Boon Lay CC as part of an external VIA programme under Boon Lay Youths (BLYN).
