I've been a professional Writer/Editor for the past 10 years, holding senior editorial positions including Editor at Read, an educational magazine distributed in Secondary Schools in Singapore. And so, I have unique insight with exercises to help weaker students write and score better, and with challenges to help already strong students improve further. (I am happy to produce examples of my magazines for parents' verification if needed.) Besides writing professionally, I've also tutored for the last 15 years. I am a specialist in tutoring the English language, both spoken and written. I am most effective with students who struggle to improve or maintain their grades. Almost all of my younger students stick with me from Primary school through to O' Levels. Unlike other tutors or tuition centres, I continuously review my students' test/examination papers to better mentor them. I am very confident in my teaching methods and encourage parents to randomly "spot-check" and sit-in during lessons.
