Tutoring experience: I’ve been tutoring since 2018 (about 7+ years). Tuition centres: I taught at Axcell Tuition Centre for about 3 years. After that, I set up yaya mandarin and have been teaching there since. Home tuition: Mainly Primary & Secondary Chinese (G3 普华 / 高华, and O Level Chinese); IGCSE & IB Chinese Apart from students from international schools, most of my students are from Catholic High, Nanyang, ACS, Nan Hua, MGS, RGS, Hwa Chong, etc. Last year, I taught two O Level students who both achieved A1 (Distinction). Two student initially was around B3/B4, and comprehension sometimes even failed. My students are from pre-school level to adult level, I can design different lesson plans for different requirements (O' level, IGCSE, IB, etc.). For different students, I apply different teaching methods to suit their needs. For students oriented for exams, I help them to summarise vocabulary and grammar to learn efficiently in limited time. I have primary school students getting top scores in class and high school students who improve significantly to pass IB test with satisfying result in Chinese. I also have an adult student who passed HSK elementary level after 50 hours of teaching session.
