Used to teach for 2 years during my JC days and have taught 6 students. (3 primary, 2 secondary and 1 JC) All of their grades have shown improvement. Would prepare notes/teaching materials for every lesson on a topic that I feel the student is weak in and focus on it. For stronger students, I would craft my own questions to stretch and value-add their knowledge on that topic/subject. When students do well, I would reward them with small gifts to encourage them to to better.

2 years experience in teaching but I only started teaching combine science (Sec4EXP) last month. Within 1 month student improved from D7/E8 to A1 for combine physics. His chemistry paper is this coming thurs so I will know his results next week. He is from North Vista.

I have been tutoring full-time for 9 years and was previously teaching in a school of international students. I teach English and Math across P1-6. I have 8 tutees at the moment. Parents can rest assured that I will be extremely patient with students at all times. I will always do an initial assessment of their current standing before I decide on the customized teaching methods for different individuals. I believe it is important to identify students’ needs first so as to teach effectively. I teach in school in the mornings to international kids. Currently engaged with 6 students of various levels. I do not apply a uniform teaching method to all my kids but a customised way depending on the kids' ability, degree of understanding and personality.
