I have 2 years of experience teaching primary school kids math, english and chinese. 2 years of tutoring experience during my college years but its part of my co-curriculum activity meaning my school partners with a primary school and we have to tutor their students who are weak in math weekly, there are no incentives involved. We guide them with their homework and slowly, they started passing all their small class tests, I am not sure of their final examination results.

Just this year, my other student received his O Level results with marked improvement in Mathematics (he has scored A1 in E Math and B3 in A Math).

I am a full-time tutor Maths specialist. I also teach Pure Chemistry and have taught students from top schools including Raffles Institution and ACS Independent. Creative writing, public speaking and debating trainer of primary 6 students in several primary schools I am also a trainer of PSLE Maths and Olympiad Maths programmes in primary schools (most recently Junyuan Pri) I have been a tutor in homes and tuition centres across Singapore since 2006. A former geotechnical engineer, he is also a MOE-registered academic trainer in primary and secondary schools who is very active in the educational enrichment landscape of Singapore.

Teaching Style:
- I am highly responsible & patient, and is very passionate to teach :)
- I will teach the student the time planning for chinese paper 1 and 2, and go through the chinese homeworks with the student (explain word by word, and translate it to english to allow the student to better understand the meaning of the word/phrase/成语).
- I will also teach the student some 修辞手法 (rhetoric)，论证方法（for 议论文, argumentative essay) ，好词好句 (good phrases)
- I can help the student to look for suitable chinese assessment books in the book store, and provide some notes and quality essays (for paper 1 email and compo)
- In order the boost the student's interest in learning chinese, I will share some interesting newspaper/online articles & short videos with him/her, and conduct spelling or kahoot test (more fun & engaging).

I started teaching private tuition after completing my A-Level exams. Currently, I am tutoring 10 students for Chinese language (two Pri 2, one Pri 3, one Pri 4, one Pri 5, three Sec 1, two Sec 4)
