I'm a full-time tutor specialized in A Level & IB Math, existing students from Australia International School, RI, HCI, VJC, TJC, over 10 years of teaching experience, ex-Asean Scholar, Member of Mensa Singapore. Currently I have one taking IB HL from Australia International School, my other existing students are taking SG A level. Last 3 years, I have taught another 2 students taking IB HL, with both scoring 6. The recent batch of 22 Math students in 2017 & 2018 have made significant improvements in their results, with most of them scoring A and B in their A level, prelim and promo exams. Highly effective exam techniques have helped students improve grades. I'm patient and passionate in teaching Math and have great experience in motivating students to enjoy solving Math problems. Mr Kuah would go through a Mathematics topic first by explaining the topic with his own self-made notes before letting me practice his selection of math questions - a mixture of both his own created questions and questions deemed challenging or will allow me to grasp concepts easier. When nearing examination dates, Mr Kuah would always target my weaknesses in specific topics and give practice questions relating to the specific topic, helping me deal with the said topic. Mr Kuah's teachings coupled with the large amount of questions done have helped me built a solid foundation in Mathematics, allowing me to deal with questions that might have a different or weird phrasing or even some questions that are totally different but still have a relation to topics that I have learnt before. I am grateful to Mr Kuah who has helped me build a good foundation in Mathematics and hence, allowing me to attain an A grade in the A-Level Mathematics Examination. Leong Jun Wei: Mr Kuah is very clear in explaining the general approaches to solve questions. Found it much easier to understand the important concepts under his guidance and really appreciate the time he takes to help me outside of lesson time via whatsapp. I have achieved tremendous improvement in my results with his patient guidance.

I have over 1 year of teaching experience, I teach at tuition centres and also has been providing private tuition. I achieved 'Best In Higher Chinese' award in secondary school. and 'Best In Written Communication in Chinese I' in Polytechnic. I major in Chinese Studies and will be graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Chinese Studies(Education) in May. In my course of study, I have learned a variety of modules which is relevant to teaching and interacting with children. I am a High School Diploma holder. I also took SATs and I scored among the top 96%. My forte is English. I have managed to successfully teach a Primary 5 student how to break down the exam paper and what techniques to apply when performing in the exam. The student was from temasek primary school. Initial score 73, final score 84 Participated in an Institute for Cultural Communicators (ICC) 2-day speech training program in 2015. The training included practice in radio broadcasting, brainstorming solutions for potential communication problems (Eg. language barriers), and interpretation of children stories (how to invoke emotion and portray different characters as you narrate the story)
