I am a currently working as behaviour therapist who works with children with special needs, mainly autism. I started private tutoring when I was pursuing my Bachelor Degree in 2012. Throughout the years, I have tried teaching in tuition centres but after 2 years, I decided that I prefer 1-to-1 tutoring so I am able to customise the lesson plan according to individual's needs. I do not believe in spoon-feeding the students. During my lesson, I facilitate to guide my students to think out of the box. I was a MOE Humanities Scholar and I would be reading Economics in SMU under a Global Impact Scholarship. I teach mainly IB HL/SL Economics, IB SL Math, IB SL Math Studies Taught 4 students, all from ACS (I) for IP/IB Mathematics with them getting Grade 6 or 7. Started with 1 student, but managed to tutor the rest of the students based on the recommendations of my student's parents to other parents. 1 student from ACS (I) for SL Math, 1 student from ACS (I) for HL Economics, 1 student from NPS International for HL Economics and SL Math.

My teaching experience started with helping my siblings with their schoolwork, and I have continued this habit over the years. During my IB years not long ago, I tutored (informally) my classmates in school in various subjects - mostly Economics HL and Math SL. I now tutor students doing IB SL Math. I believe in catering my classes to each specific student, as every one would have different and unique ways of learning. Some learn better through lots of practice examples, others through a complete understanding of the topic prior to attempting questions, and etcetera. I am a patient and approachable teacher, but also hope to push my students to perform at their very best.

I have been teaching IB math recently, but have tutored my sister for Sec 4 Emath. She studied at fairfield and improved by one grade. Previous IB student (from SOTA) also improved by two grades for SL Math.

I was a Principle of Accounts (POA) relief teacher for 4 months with Ngee Ann Secondary School in 2014, my role included teaching Secondary 3 and 4 students POA. Since then, I have been giving POA tuition on a part time basis. Previous students include:
- ITE student (2018, 2019) scored A for all her accounting related examinations
- O Level student from Green View Secondary School (2018) went from E8 during Prelims to A2 for POA after 4 months of tuition before O Level exams
- O Level student (2017) scored A1 for POA at O Level exams, grades during mid year exams was C6 and prelims was B4
- 2 Secondary 5 O Level students (2016) went from scoring C5 in school to scoring A1 for POA at O Level exams
- 4 Secondary 4 O Level students (2015) scored A1/A2 for POA at O Levels exams
