Personal Qualifications
- Am a Law school student with an NUS Merit Law Scholarship with a concurrent Masters in Public Policy.
- Graduated from Raffles Junior College with an A in General Paper
- Was from Raffles Girls' Secondary and Raffles Junior College.
- I scored A for H1 GP (english), H2 Math, H2 Econs, H2 Chem, H1 Project Work, B for H2 Bio and A2 for Higher Chinese O levels.
- Have taught O level students through to their important exams (N levels or O levels).
- Will have good infopacks, exam strategies, worksheets, and comprehensive guides on how to tackle the various questions. Will impart different techniques depending on the question.
- The lessons will definitely seek to inspire the students and develop their confidence in themselves, so that they are motivated to take charge of their learning journey.
- Have a good track record, my current Sec 4 IP student saw a grade jump from D7 (1st mid term exam she took before she hired me) to an A (2nd mid term exam which I guided and helped her with). I have screenshots to show for it. This was done in the span of just 3-4 lessons.
I have tutored primary and secondary kids, mostly in Math and in English. Mostly I specialise in teaching English to primary school and secondary school students, to teach and impart key exam techniques and strategies that will help them score. The key areas to score and improve grades in English would mostly be in composition, where I will spend the most time teaching key techniques, providing notes and ensuring that the student grasps good understanding and knows how to apply such techniques effectively. I tutored a Secondary 4 student up to his O levels, and before then his English was so weak that he was FAR from a pass, but he managed to score a B4 in the O level English exam. Similarly, there are also techniques that I will teach, catered to exactly what the examiners are looking out for, be it in Primary school, Secondary school, or JC GP.
