More than 8 years of experiences in teaching Mathematics and Science in the level of Primary and Secondary. Students usually improve after 3 months of teaching (usually a grade jump), many scores A eventually in PSLE, even from failed grade. Being patient and dedicated, I would always simplify complex concepts for them to understand better. I would teach them how to find the keywords of the questions, and answering techniques and problem solving skills to help them analyse and understand questions better. Would also create summary notes, mindmaps and practise questions, tailor to each student's needs and many comment to be very helpful in understand the big pictures and facilitate their revisions well.
