I have graduated from St Andrew’s Junior College in 2018, and Singapore Chinese Girls’ School in 2015. In both institutions, I have taken up an extra third language at the Ministry Of Education Language Center (Japanese Language) on top of my other curriculums and managed to get distinctions. I have attained a score of 9 points for my O’Levels. My forte would be Math (Amath & Emath) and Full Geography for the secondary school level as I frequently scored top in level/top in class. For Emath/Amath, I have managed to identify patterns and failproof For methods during my secondary days myself. I guarantee you that your child will no longer dread maths anymore, and instead be motivated to score distinctions. I took great passion and interest in Full Geography during my Secondary school days. I enjoyed organising various topics and research studies so that it would be easy for information to be retained in my head. As such, I did not have to rush to memorise (like most students did) before the O’Levels. I could share the important key words and information to pick up in order for your child to score a distinction for Full Geography. I will be open to teaching Primary school math and science as well. I have taught Science to two primary six students in preparation for the PSLE. They have both experienced an improvement in grades, generally from fail/C to an A/B. Lastly, I have taken the SATs (Math and English) and have scored better than cohort average, as well as distinction for SAT Math. Do let me know if your child needs help for SAT Math. Since I also have a JLPT N2 Level, I am fluent in the Japanese Language as well. (Native Speaker). I have also attended the Japanese Supplementary School (Clementi) from Elementary to Middle School. My mother is Japanese & I have attended the Japanese Supplementary School for 10 years. Hold a N2 proficiency in Japanese. Currently teaching 3 tutees. Age range 4-60 y’old. Course materials will be prepared, personally suited according to her learning pace. Japanese beginner courses outside are usually conducted in large groups/class sizes and fees exclude textbook & course material fees. Also, I am a native Japanese speaker and hence other than the language, I do input knowledge about the Japanese culture & traditions in my students’ lessons. Do let me know if you would be interested to learn another language in your free time, as it would be great to be trilingual or more in this globalised world. Used to give tuition at Mavis tuition centre and home tuition to primary school students for English and Maths only. My journey started off as a part time tutor with Mavis, while I was studying. After graduating, I worked in a in-house legal counsel with DBS Bank while giving private tuition on the side but not as much as I would like to. Right now, my plan is to give tuition full time. I would like to start off by giving tuition to kindergarten and lower primary students to familiarize myself with syllabus then slowly to the higher primary. To all students I have tutored there have been atleast a grade up improvement. I am clear and organized in my approach to teaching which has proven helpful for students in understanding and grasping a concept at a time.
