I am tutoring for the 7th year currently and thus am very familiar with the syllabus. I have tutored Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary level thus far. Majority of the weaker students I have tutored thus far have improved by a minimum of 2 grades. In my 10 years of teaching Maths in a Secondary School, I try different methods to engage learners because each individual is different. However, I am able to work with weak students to motivate them to help them pick up their grades from fail to a passing grade. Besides the numbers, during my teaching process, students develop an interest and desire to work hard and start to believe in themselves. Hi, my name is Chiew Yong, a PhD graduate, and I’m 38 this year. I have been teaching Science and Maths subjects across all levels up to JC and including SL, HL, and IB levels for 19 years. I taught students from many schools including RJC, HCJC, ACS, ACI, and NUS High, to name a few worth mentioning.
