Apart from helping my classmates and juniors, I also tutored a friend in SAT English, helping them increase their SAT score from below to above 1500 and gain admission to Cornell University. My own SAT score on my first try was 1550 (760 for English, 790 for Maths).

I have 2 years of experience teaching maths from Primary 5 to Primary 6, in order to prepare the 3 studenst for thier PSLE. I was asked to tutor this student as maths was not his strongest subject and the student's grade did not Improve despite being tutored. A friend recommended this student to me as maths has always been my strongest subject. After numerous homework and revisions with my student, his grades improved from D to B. I had to put in extra effort and tutor the student beyond the agreed hour especially during the exam period. The student's parents recommended me to their friends who were looking for tutor for their kids. i continued tutoring 2 of their kids for lower primary Maths and science.

I am just currntly starting out, but I mainly employ the personalized learning approach in which I base the lesson around your child's strengths and weaknesses for that particular topic, guiding them in the process of addressing their weaknesses and reinforcing their strengths, while linking it to other topics to help them see the bigger picture. I prefer to conduct lessons online in light of the current Covid-19 situation, and through online mediums, I employ the use of videos and animations related to the topic at hand I am teaching to allow your child to better understand and internalize the concept being taught.

Right after my O level exams, I was given an opportunity to work as a Student Care teacher in Admiralty Primary School, The Learning Harbour. After working there for about a year I became a private tutor. I have been a private tutor for 3 years. In these 3 years I have taught a total of 9 students. Ranging from P1 to Sec 4. Currently I am teaching 5 students, P4, Sec 1, Sec 2 and 2 Sec 4 All of my students have improved by at least a grade or have been maintaining A. My ex P4 student which I have been teaching for 2 years has improved from C to B/A.
