I was a teaching tuition during my first 2 years of undergrad studies in NUS at from 2007-2009. I taught mainly math, science and lower primary English.

I am an undergraduate from NUS. I have been teaching for 3 years and I have taught 6 students. My students generally improved from Cs to As. I am an extremely patient tutor as I believe that everyone has a different learning curve. My method of teaching will be quite straightforward as I personally do not like to spend a lot of time on the content because do not like pure memorising(but of course the contents are fundamental and I usually will go through it before doing questions or if students are weak in the content.) I believe learning the key point of the various chapter from doing different sorts of questions will be the fastest and the most efficient method as this is something I have done and proven in my secondary school days so as to pull my results up from a C6 to A2 in less than 4 months and my students have shown significant improvements through this method.

Even though I may not have official tuition experience, I'm a committed, friendly and patient individual who has the passion to teach and wants to help others improve in Mathematics. I am Kishore, I did my bachelor's in electrical engineering and my gradutate diploma in System analysis programming in NUS. I'm currently doing my master's/ Phd in SMU. I started teaching my juniors and friends from Year 1 of my undergrad, Since I tend to understand concepts faster and teach in a simple yet intelligible method for my students to process. I specialise in Math and physics. I have one year experience giving tuition to a secondary 4 boy , his grades improved drasctically from B4 to A1 in math and B3 to A2 in physics . His ability to understand concepts and fundamentals has improved as well. He was able to solve complex questions and understand difficult oncepts more easily. My methodology of teaching is to help the student understand the fundaments of a concept before approaching a problem and to teach them the skill to ask meaningful questions to improve their understanding. I teach my students to gain the ability to analyse and understand a problem before solving it, so that they will be able gain the confidence over time to solve complex questions and understand difficult concepts effortlessly.
