I have brought my weakest student from 18 to 63 marks in 2020. 6 students who have been stuck a the B-grade (unable to achieve higher marks for a long time) have managed to secure an A* after 6 months of training with me. 4. I was teaching in SJI. I taught Geography and Theory of Knowledge. My few years at SJI, I used to teach lower secondary History too. I left SJI in 2020 My tuition students are from schools like Catholic High, ACSI, HCI international and SJI international. I’m currently teaching 3 China students IB English and 4 China students TOK. IB Group 2 English covers literature text, writing and comprehension. Students are scored between grades 5-7 in their recent exams. For A level, I have 1 student from cj and sajc now. And I’ve H1 and H2 Geography notes. These students were able to cope with Humanities subjects and were scoring at all. After being with me for a period of time, many of them scored at least a B4, from D7. My batch of students last year all scored A1 for Olevels. I have a total of 10 years teaching experience in schools, both overseas and locally. I specialised in using Concept-based and Inquiry-based learning pedagogy to teach Geography and History. Over the last 5 years, I have also been giving Geography (Lower and Upper Secondary levels) and History (Lower Secondary Level) for the last 5 years. Average grades of my students range between A1-A2.

I have 8 years of experience in teaching (one to one) lessons. I have been teaching Science for Primary level and Chemistry & Biology for Secondary level. I would use recognized materials for teaching and I would prepare notes for students to ensure they have better understanding of each topics and I would use successful methods to ensure they excel with better grades. I also get along easily with students(but will be strict if required) so that they are not afraid to ask questions or clear their doubts. I have 1 year experience of teaching for the IGCSEs and IB Examinations at Mathvision Tuition Centre. I mainly teach Chemistry and Biology. My teaching methods mainly involve going through a specific topic with the student each session and writing handwritten notes for each topic. If the student prefers writing their own notes that can be done as well. This is then followed by assigning homework from assessment books or past year papers to consolidate their understanding of the topic.
